My Humble Observation - Part 1

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Not denying the fact that a true Muslim's dream is to see Ka'ba. One will leave off his home, children, title, wealth and many more just for a reason :

ALLAH

Many flies thousands of miles and sacrifices made to be able to be here.

Undeniably, it's a noteable effort.

BUT..

Hold that thought and ponder upon these very few selected scenarios which reflect on whether are we truly here for ALLAH when SUBMISSION and HONOUR left by it's name while substance being drifted away.

My heart broke as soon as a loud shouting voices emerged in the Masjid for what seems to cause just for being impatient to share some spaces among them. The noble intention to perform salah jamaah seems to be forgotten. That little space seems to be priority.

Put aside everything else as EVERYTHING belongs to Allah, none that we own. Patience and tolerance will be REWARDED. Will it hurt being tolerant? Or at least, had it not crossed their mind of where they were? Shouldn't we uphold the virtue of a true behaviour of muslims within us regardless of where we are?

It started from THE HEART.

Masjid should be of tranquility and dignity.

Look around and we have us to remind one another.

Our Duty

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

What an adorable pair of hands and feet. That adorable pair belonged to us at one point of time. Now that the pair has grown bigger and make us older and we are waiting for another adorable pair of our next generations to be adorn.

We were once young and we soon be old.

My recent reading of Dr. Muhammad al-'Areefi's book entitled "The End Of The World : Signs Of The Hour, Major And Minor" recorded that among minor signs of the end of the world is disobedience to parents. A young person may enjoy sitting with his friends, feeling more comfortable with them than with his parents, especially if the father or mother is very old, or complains a lot, issues instructions, and is critical of others.

In the name of Allah, be obedient.

Al-An'aam 6:151

"Be good and dutiful to your parents"

May Allah protects us from evil heart and make us and our children a true Muslim at heart. InsyaAllah..

Bake for Your Health

Al-Baqarah (2:172)

“O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you, and render thanks to Allah if it is (indeed) He whom ye worship”

Assalamualaikum....

A call to a few articles about dangerous ingredients in the white bread on the market some time ago, here'a a White Bread recipe for you to try. Fairly simple. The taste is much better than the all branded breads on the shelf and IMPORTANTLY it's much healthier...

You may read the Shocking Truth About Bread and Warning on Unsafe Bread - TheStarOnLine to learn more what you are eating.

White Bread

Ingredients:

2 cups of warm water - 1 1/2 cups of hot water + 1/2 cup of cold water
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
6 cups of bread flour - sifted (or All Purpose Flour)

Directions:

1.In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water, and then stir in the yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam (about 10 minutes).

2. Mix salt and oil into the yeast.

3. Mix in flour, a cup at a time.

4. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth (alternatively knead in the same bowl)

5. Place in a well oiled bowl and allow to rise until doubled in bulk.

6. Punch dough down, knead for few minutes and divide in half. Shape into loaves and place into two well oiled 9x5 inch loaf pans (about 1 hour or until dough has risen 1 inch above the pan).

6. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.

InsyaAllah.

Alternatively, you may add raisins, apricots or any sorts about 1/4 cup and just add a couple of tablespoon of water to get a smoother dough. Sugar can be added up to 2/3 cups to convert this White Bread into Sweet Bun.
